Press the “mode” button on the watch unit and check the display to see if the device responds. If the display appears frozen, attempt to reset the device by holding down all of the buttons for five to 10 seconds. If the watch unit fails to respond, install a replacement battery in the device. Press the watch unit's “mode” button until I bought a Garmin HRM-Pro just over a year ago because my HRM-Tri kicked the bucket after a couple years. It was working really well until earlier this week when the battery died, so I replaced it. New battery died on the first work out. So I replaced it. Same result. Googling, it seems this is a fairly common thing, once the battery needs The connection between my 945 and HRM-Pro is ok and the connection between GCM with both my 945 and HRM is ok too. But I do a run activity on my watch, it notice that the connection between my watch and HRM-Pro status is Connected, after I finished activity and check on the GCM app the Running Dynamics did not record!? Please help me! It will record a heart rate that doesn't change with exercise intensity (eg HR stays at 83bpm), or lose contact or give excessively high readings. I have tried all recommended suggestions, wetting the strap, placing strap on in advance of a ride, replacing battery, tried pairing it to hubbie's Garmin but after unpairing and attempting to re I learned while in the water do not attempt to modify the current work-out while the HRM-TRI is under water. It will lose the connection with the 920, I ended up losing half of data from the swim work-out. My point, do not change the work-out settings while under water. My second experience with the HRM-TRI was at a formal Olympic tri. No luck ever turning on and no matter what I did I had your issue. The open box one has worked initially. I am afraid of this issue once I need to replace the battery. I was also reading from another reddit thread that no spares exist. mguaylam fēnix 7X SS, inReach Mini, Edge 1030, Varia, HRM-Pro. • 1 yr. ago. I have the same. PdcXf. Last month or so HRM Pro data is totally ubreliable. Sometimes it doesn't measure running dynamics data or does it half of the run leaving some empty areas in the graphs. Sometimes it shows wrong HR. For example durning the interval runs or threshold runs it shows my HR -20bpm or even -30bpm compared to real HR. I bought a Garmin 735XT and the Garmin HRM Run chest transmitter about 6 months ago. I'm only getting about 30 hours use at the very most from the chest transmitter battery before having to replace it with a new one. Is this normal? I see that garmin states over 300 hours use from a new battery. I'm not getting a fraction of this for some reason. After going through multiple HRM-RUN and an HRM-TRI, I would never get a Garmin strap again. They work great until the first time you have to change the battery and they never seal back up properly again. Every one of those units has died after a battery change. Running dynamics are not very useful so I don’t care about them. There’s a tension bar underneath the battery, so it’s normal for it to not sit level until you screw the top back on. Ensure the gasket is intact (the hardest part for me), and when you screw down the lid the battery will hold in place. fravowi1912 • 2 yr. ago. Yeah, thanks. I know it doesn't sit level. Does anyone have a bomb-proof HRM-Pro? I'm on my third unit. The other two just stopped working. With the latest firmware update (7.4), if I remove and replace the battery, the unit works for between 8-10 minutes and then stops. I can replace the battery and have it work for anyone 8-10 minutes. Anyone experiencing this? Surprisingly, at least from Garmin, the Garmin Forerunner 945 only has one version but it can also be bought bundled up with the HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim heart rate monitors for an extra $150 / £130.
